On the plus side it gave me sometime to consider what I'd actually be doing with the kit. I decided that I would be mounting the swords on a shield because my initial plan of mounting them on the hips didn't look right.
So, far I've modded the left arm to remove the grenade launcher, and I've been working on scratch building two identical rifles. I've started work on the shield putting a bend in it was pretty tricky, and I'm pretty pleased with how its coming along. I've got how I wanted to mount the swords sorted out and the whole thing is mounted on the left forearm by magnets.
I still have a few more things to add to the underside of the shield.
