I don't normally work this quickly, but I've been itching to get some work done on this and its still quite rough, but this has helped me sort out where to go with this. So I've been chopping up bits of backpack and rearranging them into something that reminds me a bit more of the Gundam MkII's backpack. From here I think I'd like to scratch another claw shield, I think they may have become my thing as of late. Mod the rifle, polish up the backpack, remove the seams (the ones in the upper leg and lower arm are pretty bad).

SRW Wildraubtier WIP #1
It's about time that I got to work again, I guess I'll be getting my semi-annual Kotobukiya kit in early this year. So, Zakuaurelius of Youtube gunpla fame launched a Kotobukiya specific contest, so I've decided to take advantage to finish up a kit that has been snapped and sitting on my shelf for ages.
I'll be working on an 1/144 SRW Wildraubtier by Kotobukiya, I personally lean towards referring to it as a Zeta Plus clone, as much as I like the Zeta Plus I want something a little different out of this one. The plan at this point is to shuffle some parts around, remove the transforming bits to make it look a little sleeker, and a style a little more reminiscent of a more conventional ground-pounder.
I've done some work, first I wanted to remove the big dopey bunny ears, then the clunky back pack, and then added pla-plate to fill in the gaps left by the transformation gizmo. I'll be trying to change it by rearranging it with the parts that I have from tearing it apart.

Overview of 2018
It's been a rough year. 2017 was an okay year for me, made a lot of progress on kits, found a new job and was going to school full-time. In other terms, it was busy and 2018 was no different on that level with the exception that I only managed to complete a single kit.
I'm pretty fond of the one kit that I managed to complete, my MG Zeta Plus S1 that I originally built for the Gunpla Builder's Association 2018 Cannon Fodder Contest, and also entered into my local hobby show. While building this, I attempted to style it after the GM Sniper II and incorporated a lot of parts from S-Gundam and scratch built bits.

In early November my grandfather passed away at 81 when he was struck by a car while crossing the street, full disclosure still processing that. It made it a tough year for school and work and I had been intending to complete my MG Destiny by the end of the year but plans kind of fell apart there, and I lost track of where I wanted to go with it. I'm hoping to get things underway again early this year.
